tendo como Lado B a música On the road again. A canção chegou ao
número 9 dos charts pop americanos. De acordo com a letra, a mágica
é o poder da música de proporcionar alegriae liberdade tanto pra
quem faz música quanto pra quem curte.
O baterista
da gravação foi Gary Chester. A versão do Lovin' Spoonful é o
número 216 da lista das 500 maiores canções de todos os tempos da
revista Rolling Stone.
Em 1977, a
canção foi hit novamente, com Shaun Cassidy. Foi também regravada
por John Mellencamp em 1976, Bud Rank, Randy Van Warmer, The Format,
BBMak, Steve Tyrell, Aly & AJ, entre outros. A versão de Aly &
AJ chegou ao número 2 dos charts de vendas e número 23 no Canadá,
em 2005.
