A letra:

Look at the ivy on the cold clinging wall
Look at the flowers and the green grass so tall
It's not a matter of when push comes to shove
It's just an hour on the wings of a dove

It's just warm love, It's just warm love

I dig it when you're fancy dressed up in lace
I dig it when you have a smile on your face
This inspiration's got to be on the flow
These invitations got to see it and know

It's just warm love, It's just warm love

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
Warm love

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
That warm love

To the country I'm going
Lay and laugh in the sun
You can bring your guitar along
We'll sing some songs and we'll have some fun

The sky is crying and it's time to go home
And we shall hurry to the car from the foam
Sit by the fire and dry out our wet clothes
It's raining outside from the skies up above

Inside it's warm love, Inside it's warm love

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
That warm love

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
That warm love, can you feel it

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
That warm love, hey

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
That warm love, hey

And it's ever present everywhere
And it's ever present everywhere
That warm love

A letra:

Every time when I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone

And it went by, like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way?
Everybody's got their dues in life to pay

Yeah, I know nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody's sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life's in books, written pages
Live and learn from fools and from sages
You know it's true, oh
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for a year
Sing for the laughter, and sing the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear
Sing it with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Dream on, Dream on
Dream on
Dream until the dream come true

Dream on, Dream on
Dream on
Dream until your dream come true

Dream on, Dream on
Dream on, Dream on

Dream on, Dream on
Dream on, ah

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear
Sing it with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Something tells me
You're a Devil's daughter
Sorrow, sorrow
Ahhhh, ah, ahhhh

'Cause I can't resist her

The only thing I ever got from you was sorrow

You're the apple of my eye
You're the apple of my heart

But now, the time has come to part

Oh, I'm sorry, but it's time to make a stand
Though we never meant to bite the lovin' hand
And now, the time has come to walk alone
We were the children, now we've overgrown

You're the apple of my eye
You're the apple of my heart
But now, the time has come to part

Oh, I'm sorry, but it's time to move away
Though inside my heart, I really want to stay
Believe the love we have is so sincere
You know, the gift you have will always be

You're the apple of my eye
You're the apple of my heart
But now, the time has come to part

Now, the time has come to part
Now, the time has come to part

A letra:

Crazy Janey and her mission man were back in the alley tradin' hands
'Long came Wild Billy with his friend G-man all duded up for Saturday night
Well Billy slammed on his coaster brakes and said anybody wanna go on up to Greasy Lake
It's about a mile down on the dark side of route eighty-eight
I got a bottle of rose so let's try it
We'll pick up Hazy Davy and Killer Joe and I'll take you all out to where the gypsy angels go
They're built like light

And they dance like spirits in the night (All night) in the night (All night)
Oh, you don't know what they can do to you
Spirits in the night (All night), in the night (All night)
Stand right up now and let it shoot through you

Well now Wild young Billy was a crazy cat and he shook some dust out of his coonskin cap
He said, "Try some of this it'll show you where you're at, or at least it'll help you really feel it"
By the time we made it up to Greasy Lake I had my head out the window and Janey's fingers were in the cake
I think I really dug her cause I was too loose to fake
I said, "I'm hurt," she said, "Honey, let me heal it"
And we danced all night to a soul fairy band
And she kissed me just right like only a lonely angel can

She felt so nice, just as soft as a spirit in the night (All night)
In the night (All night), Janey don't know what she do to you
Like a spirit in the night (All night), in the night (All night)
Stand right up and let her shoot through me

Now the night was bright and the stars threw light on Billy and Davy
Dancin' in the moonlight
They were down near the water in a stone mud fight
Killer Joe gone passed out on the lawn
Well now Hazy Davy got really hurt, he ran into the lake in just his socks and a shirt
Me and Crazy Janey was makin' love in the dirt singin' our birthday songs
Janey said it was time to go
So we closed our eyes and said goodbye to gypsy angel row, felt so right

Together we moved like spirits in the night, all night
Baby don't know what they can do to you
Spirits in the night, all night
Stand right up and let it shoot right through you

Like a spirit in the night, all night
All night, all night
All night, all night
All night, all night

Just you and me
Simple and free

Life is so easy
When you're beside me
Oh girl

Come hold me close
Never release me
Oh, baby don't release me
Open your arms, let my love in
Let me in, let me in, let me in

Love me tonight, love me forever
And ever
You know I can't forget you

Just you and me to carry on
Simple and free my lovely
To flow as one as love's reward
Lovin' you girl is so damn easy

Yeah, yeah

You are my love in my life
You are my inspiration
Just you 'n me
Simple and free

1372 – Billy Joel – You're my home (1973)

A letra:

When you look into my eyes
And you see the crazy gypsy in my soul
It always comes as a surprise
When I feel my withered roots begin to grow

Well I never had a place that I could call my very own
That's all right, my love, 'cause you're my home

When you touch my weary head
And you tell me everything will be all right
You say, "Use my body for your bed
And my love will keep you warm throughout the night"

Well, I'll never be a stranger and I'll never be alone
Wherever we're together, that's my home

Home can be the Pennsylvania Turnpike
Indiana's early morning dew
High up in the hills of California
Home is just another word for you

Well I never had a place that I could call my very own
That's all right, my love, 'cause you're my home

If I travel all my life
And I never get to stop and settle down
Long as I have you by my side
There's a roof above and good walls all around

You're my castle, you're my cabin and my instant pleasure dome
I need you in my house 'cause you're my home
You're my home

A letra:

You get up every morning from your alarm clock's warning
Take the 8:15 into the city
There's a whistle up above and people pushin', people shovin'
And the girls who try to look pretty

And if your train's on time, you can get to work by nine
And start your slaving job to get your pay
If you ever get annoyed, look at me I'm self-employed
I love to work at nothing all day

And I'll be taking care of business (every day)
Taking care of business (every way)
I've been taking care of business (it's all mine)
Taking care of business and working overtime, work out

If it were easy as fishin' you could be a musician
If you could make sounds loud or mellow
Get a second-hand guitar, chances are you'll go far
If you get in with the right bunch of fellows

People see you having fun just a-lying in the sun
Tell them that you like it this way
It's the work that we avoid, and we're all self-employed
We love to work at nothing all day

And we be taking care of business (every day)
Taking care of business (every way)
We be been taking care of business (it's all mine)
Taking care of business and working overtime

Mercy
Whoo
All right

Take good care of my business
When I'm away, every day
Whoo

They get up every morning from their alarm clock's warning
Take the 8:15 into the city
There's a whistle up above and people pushin', people shovin'
And the girls who try to look pretty

And if your train's on time, you can get to work by nine

And I be taking care of business (every day)

I've been taking care of business (it's all mine)
Taking care of business and working overtime, take care

Takin' care of business, whoo

Takin' care of business
Takin' care of business
Takin' care of business
Takin' care of business (every day)
Takin' care of business (every way)
Takin' care of business (it's all mine)

A letra:

Let me put my arms around your head
(Dom do ah) Gee, it's hot, let's go to bed
Don't forget to turn on the light
Don't laugh babe, it'll be alright

(Dom do ah) Pour me out another phone
(Dom do ah) I'll ring and see if your friends are home
Perhaps the strange ones in the dome
Can lend us a book we can read up alone

And try to get it on like once before
When people stared in Jagger's eyes and scored
Like the video films we saw

His name was always buddy (got got do ah aah aah)
And he'd shrug and ask to stay
She'd sigh like twig the wonder kid (got got do ah)
And turn her face away

She's uncertain if she likes him (got got do ah aah aah)
But she knows she really loves him
It's a crash course for the ravers (got got do ah)
It's a drive-in Saturday

Jung the foreman prayed at work (dom do ah)
Neither hands nor limbs would burst
It's hard enough to keep formation with this fall out saturation

Cursing at the astronette
(Dom do ah) who stands in steel by his cabinet
He's crashing out with Sylvian
The bureau supply for aging men
With snorting head he gazes to the shore
Once had raised a sea that raged no more
Like the video films we saw

His name was always buddy (got got do ah aah aah)
And he'd shrug and ask to stay
She'd sigh like twig the wonder kid (got got do ah)
And turn her face away

She's uncertain if she likes him (got got do ah aah aah)
But she knows she really loves him
It's a crash course for the ravers (got got do ah)
It's a drive-in Saturday

His name was always buddy (got got do ah aah aah)
And he'd shrug and ask to stay
She'd sigh like twig the wonder kid (got got do ah)
And turn her face away

She's uncertain if she likes him (got got do ah aah aah)
But she knows she really loves him
It's a crash course for the ravers (got got do ah)
It's a drive-in Saturday, yeah, yeah

It's a, it's a, it's a drive in Saturday (It's a drive-in Saturday)
It's a, it's a, it's a, yes sir, yes sir, yes sir, yes sir, yes sir,
Yes sir
(It's a drive-in Saturday) dom do do do, dom do do do
(It's a drive-in Saturday) dom do do da, dom do do da
