George Harrison, foi lançada pelos Beatles no disco Help!, depois de
dois discos sem músicas autorais de George (A hard day's night e
Beatles for Sale). Foi gravada em 15 e 16 de fevereiro de 1965 e
lançada em 6 de agosto de 1965 no disco Help!.
Foi a
primeira sessão de gravação da banda em 1965 e na mesma sessão
foram gravadas também Ticket to ride e Another girl. George fez a
música pra Pattie Boyd, que ele havia conhecido em 1964 e que casou
em janeiro de 1966.
O solo de
guitarra cadenceado foi feito com o uso de um pedal de volume. Era a
primeira vez que George usava um em uma gravação.

Harrison fez os vocais principais e tocou guitarra solo de 12 cordas.
John fez os backing vocals e tocou violão base de cordas de nylon.
Paul fez backing vocals e tocou baixo e Ringo tocou bateria e sino.
