Escrita por Donald Kinsey, “Where You Gonna Run” foi gravada em 1982/1983 e lançada primeiro no álbum Mama Africa, o quinto álbum de estúdio solo de Peter Tosh, em 1983. A faixa foi lançada como single em 1983, com “Maga Dog” no lado B. A produção ficou por conta de Peter Tosh e Chris Kimsey. “Where You Gonna Run” é uma pergunta direta e incisiva sobre responsabilidade e fuga. Na letra, Peter Tosh questiona para onde as pessoas vão correr quando chegar a hora da verdade, quando não houver mais lugar para se esconder. É uma crítica forte à hipocrisia, à corrupção e àqueles que tentam fugir das consequências de suas ações.
