Escrita por Nick Rhodes, Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Roger Taylor e Andy Talor, foi gravada no começo de 1982 e lançada em 4 de maio de 1982, no compacto que tinha Careless memories como Lado B. Sairia também no disco Rio, o segundo da banda, em 10 de maio de 1982. Foi produzida por Colin Thurston. Chegou ao número 3 do Billboard Hot 100, número 1 no Canadá, número 4 na Irlanda, Nova Zelandia e Africa do Sul. Número 5 no Reino Unido e Austrália. E número 15 na Holanda. Ganhou o primeiro Grammy Award for best short form music video. Foi escrita e gravada em um sábado na primavera de 1982, nos estúdios da EMI em Londres, pra ser mais exato, no basement. A melodia foi inspirada em If you could read my mind, de Gordon Lightfoot. A risada e os gemidos foram gravados pela namorada de Rhodes na época. Ela foi regravada pro disco Rio alguns meses depois. VH1 disse que ela era a número 3 da sua lista das 100 greatest songs of the 80s. A revista Rolling Stone colocou-a como a número 5 das 100 best songs of 1982. Até 2021, foi a música da banda que teve mais streams no Reino Unido, com 40.4 milhões de streams. Simon Le Bon cantou. Nick Rhodes tocou teclados. John Taylor tocou baixo e fez backing vocals. Roger Taylor tocou bateria e percussão. Andy Taylor tocou guitarra solo e fez backing vocals.
