Escrita por Neil Sedaka e Howard Greenfield, foi gravada inicialmente pelo próprio Sedaka em 1973, mas a nossa versão é que estourou no mundo inteiro, a versão de Captain and Tennille, com instrumental feito por Daryl Dragon, o Captain e com bateria de Hal Blaine. A progressão de acordes foi tirada de Do it again, dos Beach Boys e acrescentaram uns acordes inspirados em Al Green. Escreveram a melodia com Diana Ross na mente. Entre a versão de Sedaka e a versão de Captain and Tennille, teve ainda a versão da dupla de irmãos ingleses Mac and Katie Kissoon, de 1973, que não obteve sucesso. A gravação de Captain and Tennille ganhou um Grammy de gravação do ano de 1975. Daryl Dragon (Captain) tocou teclado e baixo. Hal Blaine tocou bateria, congas e percussão. Toni Tennille cantou e fez backing vocals. A versão de Captain and Tennille chegou ao número 1 do Billboard Hot100, número 1 na Australia e no Canadá, número 2 na Africa do Sul, número 6 na França, número 8 na Nova Zelandia. Número 32 no Reino Unido e número 33 na Itália. Foi regravada por Wilson Pickett, entre outros artistas.
