No sun will shine in my day today (no sun will shine)
The high yellow moon won't come out to play (that high yellow moon won't come out to play)
I said (darkness) darkness (has come and covered my light) has covered my light,
(And has changed)
And has changed (my day into night) my day into night, yeah.

Where is the love to be found? (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Won't someone tell me 'cause
Life (sweet life) must be (got to be) somewhere to be found (out there somewhere out there for me)
Instead of concrete jungle (Jungle, jungle, jungle!),
Where the living is hardest (concrete jungle!).
Concrete jungle (jungle, jungle, jungle)
Man, you got to do your best (concrete jungle!)
Wo-ooh, yeah

No chains around my feet but I'm not free, oh
I know I am bounded in captivity
(Never known) I Never known (what happiness is) happiness;
(Never known) I've never known (what sweet caress is) what sweet caress is
Still, I'll be always laughing like a clown; (oooh-oooh-oooh)

Oh someone help me 'cause I (sweet life) -
I've got to pick myself from off the ground yeah (got to be, out there somewhere out there for me)
In this ya concrete jungle (Jungle, jungle, jungle!):
I said, what do you got for me (concrete jungle!) now? oh
Concrete jungle (jungle, jungle, jungle!), why won't you let me be (concrete jungle!) now? yeah
Ohhh yeah

I said that life (sweet life) must be (got to be) somewhere to be found (out there somewhere for me)
Oh, instead: concrete jungle (jungle!) - collusion (concrete jungle!) -
Confusion (confusion). Eh!

Concrete jungle (jungle!): we've made it, We've got it.
In Concrete jungle (concrete jungle!), now. Eh!
Concrete jungle (jungle, jungle, jungle!).

What, what do you got for me (jungle, jungle!) now?

A letra:

- Alright, boys, this is it, over the hill!

We don't care what flag you're waving,
We don't even wanna know your name.
We don't care where you're from or where you're going,
All we know it's that you came.
Your making all our decisions,
We have just one request of you,
That while you're thinking things over,
Here's something you just better do.

Free the people now, (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now. (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Free the people now, (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now.

Well, we were caught with our hands in the air,
Don't despair, paranoia's ev'rywhere.
We can shake it with love when we're scared,
So let's shout it aloud like a prayer.

Free the people now, (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now. (Do it, do it, do it, do it)
Free the people now, (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now.

We understand your paranoia,
But we don't wanna play your game.
You think you're cool and know what you are doing,
666 is your name.

So while you jerking off each other,
You better bear this thought in mind;
Your time is up, you better know it,
But maybe you don't read the signs.

Free the people now, (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it (do it) now. (Do it, do it, do it, do it)
Free the people now, (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now.

Well, you were caught with your hands in the kill,
And you still gotta swallow your pill,
As you slip and you slide down the hill
On the blood of the people you killed.

Stop the killing!

(Free the people now) (do it, do it)

Do! (do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now) (Do it, do it, do it)
Stop the killing! (Free the people now) (do it, do it, do it, do it)
Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now. (Do it, do it, do it, do it)

Stop the killing! (Free the people now) (do it, do it, do it, do it)
(Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now) (Do it, do it, do it, do it)

Stop the killing! (Free the people now) (do it, do it, do it, do it)
(Do it, do it) do it, do it, do it.
Bring on the lucie! (Free the people now) (do it, do it, do it)

1315 – Bruce Springsteen – Rosalita (Come out tonight) (1973)

A letra:

Spread out now Rosie, doctor come cut loose her mama's reins
You know playin' blind man's bluff is a little baby's game
You pick up Little Dynamite, I'm gonna pick up Little Gun
And together we're gonna go out tonight and make that highway run
You don't have to call me lieutenant, Rosie, and I don't wanna be your son
The only lover I'm ever gonna need's your soft, sweet, little girl's tongue
And Rosie, you're the one

Dynamite's in the belfry, baby, playin' with the bats
Little Gun's downtown in front of Woolworth's tryin' out his attitude on all the cats
Papa's on the corner, waitin' for the bus
Mama, she's home in the window, waitin' up for us
She'll be there in that chair when they wrestle her upstairs, 'cause you know we ain't gonna come
I ain't here on business, baby, I'm only here for fun
And Rosie, you're the one

Rosalita, jump a little higher
Senorita, come sit by my fire
I just wanna be your lover, ain't no liar
Rosalita, you're my stone desire

Jack the Rabbit and Weak Knee Willie, don't you know they're gonna be there
Ah, Sloppy Sue and Big Bone Billy, they'll be coming up for air
We're gonna play some pool, skip some school
Act real cool, stay out all night, it's gonna feel alright
So Rosie, come out tonight, little baby, come out tonight
Windows are for cheaters, chimneys for the poor
Oh, Closets are for hangers, winners use the door
So use it, Rosie, that's what it's there for

Rosalita, jump a little higher
Senorita, come sit by my fire
I just wanna be your lover, ain't no liar
Rosalita, you're my stone desire, all right

Now, I know your mama, she don't like me, 'cause I play in a rock and roll band
And I know your daddy, he don't dig me, but he never did understand
Your papa lowered the boom, he locked you in your room-- I'm comin' to lend a hand
I'm comin' to liberate you, confiscate you, I want to be your man
Someday we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny
But now you're sad, your mama's mad
And your papa says he knows that I don't have any money
Oh, Your papa says he knows that I don't have any money
Oh so, your daddy says he knows that I don't have any money
Well, tell him this is his last chance to get his daughter in a fine romance
Because a record company, Rosie, just gave me a big advance

And my tires were slashed and I almost crashed, but the Lord had mercy
And my machine, she's a dud, out stuck in the mud somewhere in the swamps of Jersey
Well, hold on tight, stay up all night, 'cause Rosie, I'm comin' on strong
By the time we meet the morning light, I will hold you in my arms
I know a pretty little place in Southern California, down San Diego way
There's a little cafe, where they play guitars all night and all day
You can hear them in the back room strummin'
So hold tight, baby, 'cause don't you know Daddy's comin'
Ahhhh, Everybody sing

Rosalita, jump a little higher
Senorita, come sit by my fire
I just wanna to be your lover, ain't no liar
Oh Baby, you're my stone desire

Hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey hey

Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash

Think I'll buy me a football team

Money, well, get back
I'm all right Jack
Keep your hands off of my stack

Money, it's a hit
Don't give me that do goody good bullshit
I'm in the high-fidelity first class travelling set
I think I need a Lear jet

Money, it's a crime
Share it fairly
But don't take a slice of my pie

Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today
But if you ask for a raise
It's no surprise that they're giving none away (Away, away, away...)

"HuHuh! I was in the right!"
"Yes, absolutely in the right!"
"I certainly was in the right!"
"You was definitely in the right. That geezer was cruising for a bruising!"
"Yeah!"
"Why does anyone do anything?"
"I don't know, I was really drunk at the time!"
"I was just telling him, he couldn't get into number 2. He was asking why he wasn't coming up on freely, after I was yelling and screaming and telling him why he wasn't coming up on freely. It came as a heavy blow, but we sorted the matter out"

When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school
It's a wonder I can think at all
And though my lack of education hasn't hurt me none
I can read the writing on the wall

Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
Give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah

I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama, don't take my Kodachrome away

If you took all the girls I knew when I was single
And brought 'em all together for one night
I know they'd never match my sweet imagination
Everything looks worse in black and white

Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah

I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama, don't take my Kodachrome away

Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away

Mama, don't take my Kodachrome
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away

Mama, don't take my Kodachrome
Leave your boy so far from home
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away

Mama, don't take my Kodachrome, mm
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away, Okay

Only people realize the power of people
Well, A million heads are better than one, so come on, get it on!

Well it's long overdue

There ain't nothing better to do

We can fly right on thru, there's nothing on earth we can do
Fish or cut bait it's our future
We're making all together now pull the chain!

1309 – Bruce Springsteen – Blinded by the light (1973)

Bruce cantou, tocou guitarra, baixo e teclados. Vini Mad Dog Lopez tocou bateria e fez backing vocals. Clarence Clemons tocou sax e fez backing vocals. Harold Wheeler tocou piano.

A letra:

Madman drummers bummers and Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin' kinda older, I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasing sneezing and wheezing, the calliope crashed to the ground

Some all-hot half-shot was headin' for the hot spot, snappin' his fingers, clappin' his hands
And some fleshpot mascot was tied into a lover's knot with a whatnot in her hand
And now young Scott with a slingshot finally found a tender spot and throws his lover in the sand
And some bloodshot forget-me-not whispers, "Daddy's within earshot,

Save the buckshot, turn up the band"

And she was blinded by the light
Oh, Cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
She got down but she never got tight, but she'll make it alright

Some brimstone baritone anti-cyclone rolling stone preacher from the East
He says, "Dethrone the dictaphone, hit it in its funny bone, that's where they expect it least"
And some new-mown chaperone was standin' in the corner all alone, watchin' the young girls dance
And some fresh-sown moonstone was messin' with his frozen zone to remind him of the feeling of romance

Yeah, he was blinded by the light
Oh, Cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
He got down but he never got tight, but he's gonna make it tonight

Some silicone sister with her manager's mister told me I got what it takes
She said, "I'll turn you on, sonny, to something strong if you play that song with the funky break"
And Go-Cart Mozart was checkin' out the weather chart to see if it was safe to go outside
And little Early-Pearly came by in her curly-wurly and asked me if I needed a ride

Oh, some hazard from Harvard was skunked on beer, playin' backyard bombardier
Yes, and Scotland Yard was trying hard, they sent some dude with a calling card, he said, "Do what you like, but don't do it here"
Well, I jumped up, turned around, spit in the air, fell on the ground and asked him which was the way back home
He said, "Take a right at the light, keep goin' straight until night, and then, boy, you're on your own"

And now in Zanzibar, a shootin' star was ridin' in a side car, hummin' a lunar tune
Yes, and the avatar said, "Blow the bar but first remove the cookie jar, we're gonna teach those boys to laugh too soon"
And some kidnapped handicap was complainin' that he caught the clap from some mousetrap he bought last night
Well, I unsnapped his skull cap and between his ears I saw a gap but figured he'd be all right

He was just blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
Mama always told me not to look into the sights of the sun

Oh, but Mama, that's where the fun is
I was blinded
I was blinded
I was blinded

A letra:

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain
But You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over
Thought I'd something more to say

Home, home again
I like to be here when I can

When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire

Far away across the field
Tolling on the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spell

When you were young and your heart
Was an open book
You used to say live and let live

(You know you did, you know you did)
(You know you did)

But if this ever changing world
In which we're living

Makes you give in and cry

Say live and let die
(Live and let die)
Live and let die
(Live and let die)

What does it matter to you?
When you've got a job to do
You gotta do it well
You got to give the other fellow hell

You used to say live and let live
(You know you did)
(You know you did)
(You know you did)

But if this ever changing world
In which we're living
Makes you give in and cry

Say live and let die
(Live and let die)

Live and let die
(Live and let die)

A letra:

Many's the time I've been mistaken
And many times confused
Yes, and I've often felt forsaken
And certainly misused

Oh, but I'm alright, I'm alright
I'm just weary to my bones
Still, you don't expect to be bright and bon vivant
So far away from home, so far away from home

And I don't know a soul who's not been battered
I don't have a friend who feels at ease
I don't know a dream that's not been shattered
Or driven to its knees

Ah but it's alright, it's alright
For we lived so well so long
Still, when I think of the
Road we're traveling on
I wonder what's gone wrong
I can't help it, I wonder what has gone wrong

And I dreamed I was dying
I dreamed that my soul rose unexpectedly
And looking back down at me
Smiled reassuringly

And I dreamed I was flying

And high up above my eyes could clearly see
The Statue of Liberty
Sailing away to sea
And I dreamed I was flying

We come on the ship they call The Mayflower
We come on the ship that sailed the moon
We come in the age's most uncertain hours
And sing an American tune

Oh, and it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
You can't be forever blessed
Still, tomorrow's going to be another working day
And I'm trying to get some rest
That's all I'm trying to get some rest
