A canção é dedicada à Fred Smith, gutarrista da banda MC5 de Detroit, que seria o futuro marido de Patti Smith. A melodia é uma homenagem ao arranjo ao vivo de Prove it all night ed Bruce Springsteen, da turnê Darkness Tour, de 1978. Chegou ao número 90 no Billboard Hot 100 e número 63 no Reino Unido.
