A letra:

Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has old MacHeath, babe
And he keeps it, ah, out of sight
Ya know when that shark bites with his teeth, babe
Scarlet billows start to spread
Fancy gloves, oh, wears old MacHeath, babe
So there's never, never a trace of red
Now on the sidewalk, huh, huh, whoo sunny morning, un huh
Lies a body just oozin' life, eek
And someone's sneakin' 'round the corner
Could that someone be Mack the Knife?
There's a tugboat, huh, huh, down by the river don'tcha know
Where a cement bag's just a'drooppin' on down
Oh, that cement is for, just for the weight, dear
Five'll get ya ten old Macky's back in town
Now d'ja hear 'bout Louie Miller? He disappeared, babe
After drawin' out all his hard-earned cash
And now MacHeath spends just like a sailor
Could it be our boy's done somethin' rash?
Now Jenny Diver, ho, ho, yeah, Sukey Tawdry
Ooh, Miss Lotte Lenya and old Lucy Brown
Oh, that line forms on the right, babe
Now that Macky's back in town
I said Jenny Diver, whoa, Sukey Tawdry
Look out to Miss Lotte Lenya and old Lucy Brown
Yes, that line forms on the right, babe
Now that Macky's back in town
Look out, old Macky's back

Is somethin' he can't see
My baby don't care who knows
My baby just cares for me
Baby, my baby don't care for shows
And he don't even care for clothes
He cares for me
My baby don't care
For cars and races
My baby don't care for
He don't care for high-tone places
Liz Taylor is not his style
And even Liberace's smile
Is something he can't see
Is something he can't see
I wonder what's wrong with baby
My baby just cares for
My baby just cares for
My baby just cares for me

Escrita por Neil Sedaka e Howard Greenfield, foi gravada e lançada em 1958 em um compacto que tinha No vacancy como Lado B.

A letra:

How I'd like to look into that little book
The one that has the lock and key
And know the boy that you care for
The boy who's in your diary
When it's late at night what is the name you write?
Oh, what I'd give if I could see
Am I the boy that you care for?
The boy who's in your diary
Do you recall and make note of all
The little things I say and do?
The name you underline, I'm hoping that it's mine
Darling, I'm so in love with you
Please don't leave me blue, make all my dreams come true
You know how much you mean to me
Say I'm the boy that you care for
The boy who's in your diary

I'd be good to him, I'd bring love to him
Everyone says there'll come a day when I'll walk alongside of him
Yes, just to know him is to love, love, love him
And I do (and I do, and I, and I do, and I, and I do, and I, and I do, and I)
Why can't he see how blind can he be?
Someday he will see that he was meant for me, oh oh, yes
To know, know, know him is to love, love, love him
Just to see him smile, makes my life worthwhile
To know, know, know him is to love, love, love him

Man, I haven't got a chance
I call him, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop
Sweeter than candy on a stick
Huckleberry, cherry or lime
If you had a choice he'd be your pick
But lollipop is mine
Lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop
Crazy way he thrills me
Tell you why
Just like a lightning from the sky
He loves to kiss me till I can't see straight
Gee, my lollipop is great
I call him, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop
Lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli, lollipop, lollipop

A letra:

King Creole
There's a man in New Orleans
Who plays rock and roll
He's a guitar man
With a great big soul
He lays down a beat
Like a ton of coal
He goes by the name of King Creole
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Jumpin' like a catfish on a pole
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Hip-shaking King Creole
When the king starts to do it
It's as good as done
He holds his guitar
like a Tommy gun
He starts to growl
From way down his throat
He bends a string
And that's all she wrote
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Jumpin' like a catfish on a pole
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Hip-shaking King Creole
Well, he sings a song about a crawdad hole
He sings a song about a jelly roll
He sings a song about meat and greens
He sings some blues about New Orleans
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Jumpin' like a catfish on a pole
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Hip-shaking King Creole
Well, he plays something evil
Then he plays something sweet
No matter what he plays
You got to get up on your feet
When he gets the rockin' fever
Baby, heaven sakes
He don't stop playin'
'Till his guitar breaks
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Jumpin' like a catfish on a pole
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Hip-shaking King Creole
You know he's gone, gone, gone
Hip-shaking King Creole

Look a-there, look a-there
Look a-there, look a-there
Young blood, young blood, young blood
I can't get you out of my mind
I took one look and I was fractured
I tried to walk but I was lame
I tried to talk but I just stuttered
What's your name? What's your name?
What's your name? What's your name?
Young blood, young blood, young blood
I can't get you out of my mind
What crazy stuff, she looked so tough
I had to follow her all the way home
Then things went bad, I met her dad
He said, "You'd better leave my daughter alone"
I couldn't sleep a wink for tryin'
I saw the rising of the sun
And all the night my heart was cryin'
You're the one, you're the one
You're the one, you're the one
Young blood, young blood, young blood
I can't get you out of my mind
Young blood, young blood, young blood
I can't get you out of my mind

In your hands my heart is clay,
To take a hold as you may.
I'm what you make me, you've only to take me,
And in your arms I will stay.

I'll be a fool or a wise man,
My darling you hold the key,
Yes, anyway you want me,
Well that's how I will be... I will be.

A letra:

I was the one who taught her to kiss
The way that she kisses you now
And you know the way she touches your cheek
Well, I taught her how
I was the one who taught her to cry
When she wants you under her spell
The sight of her tears drives you out of your mind
I taught her so well
And then one day
I had my love as perfect as could be
She lived, she loved, she laughed, she cried
And it was all for me
I'll never know who taught her to lie
Now that it's over and done
Who learned the lesson when she broke my heart?
I was the one
And then one day
I had my love as perfect as could be
She lived, she loved, she laughed, she cried
And it was all for me
I'll never know who taught her to lie
Now that it's over and done
Who learned the lesson when she broke my heart?
I was the one
