Escrita por Madonna, foi gravada em abril de 1982 e lançada em 6 de outubro de 1982 em um compacto. Sairia também no primeiro disco dela, em 27 de julho de 1983, chamado Madonna. Foi produzida por Mark Kamins. Em 1982, Madonna vivia em New York City com seu namorado Stephen Bray, e foi quando ela criou essa demo dessa música. Ela promoveu a demo em boates e convencendo os DJs a tocar. Na boate chamada Danceteria, ela conheceu Kamins, que levou pra uma gravadora e Madonna conseguiu um contrato. Fred Zarr e Dean Gant tocaram teclado. Ed Walsh tocou sintetizador e Gwen Guthrie, brenda White e Chrissy Faith. Madonna cantou. Chegou ao número 1 na Islandia.
