de 1966 em um compacto que tinha Bread como Lado B. É uma das
canções mais regravadas da história, com centenas de gravações.
Chegou ao número 3 nos charts de R&B e número 2 nos charts pop
americanos.
Os pais de Hebb eram músicos cegos e ele era muito próximo do seu
irmão Harold. Eles cantavam juntos em uma dupla e chegaram até a
cantar na TV. Duas tragédias fizeram com que ele escrevesse Sunny. A
morte do presidente Kennedy e o assassinato do seu irmão Harold, à
facadas.
