A repetição da letra “Taking it all the right way/Never no turning back”, a proeminencia de percussão e baixo e a ênfase nos backing vocals se torna uma das canções mais “soul” do disco. Um dos cantores que fazem o backing vocal é o Luther Vandross e Geoff MacCormack. O sistema de call e response entre Bowie e o pessoal do backing vocal dá um ar de sofisticação.
