1967 no disco The Velvet Underground and Nico. A canção fala sobre
comprar 26 dólares de heroína no Harlem, perto da interseção das
ruas Lexington e 125th street, em New York City, cantada
sob o ponto de vista do comprador que está pro Harlem de outro ponto
da cidade. The man é o traficante.
Juntamente
com as guitarras, baixo e bateria, a canção tem um piano marcante.
É uma das canções mais populares da banda e uma das muitas que
fala sobre drogas. A revista Rolling
