498 – Herman's Hermits – I'm Henry VIII, I am (1965)

Escrita em 1910 pelos britânicos Fred Murray e R. P. Weston. Em 1965, se tornou a música mais rápida a ser vendida na história até então, quando foi regravada pelos Herman's Hermits. Foi o segundo número 1 deles nos charts pop americanos. É a história de uma mulher que havia sido casada sete vezes antes, e todos com nome de Henry. O narrador era o oitavo. A canção é cantada em forte sotaque britânico.

Antes dos Hermits, Joe Brown regravou-a em 1961, tornando-a conhecida no mundo britânico. Connie Francis gravou-a em 1966. As versões antigas soletram o nome como Henery. Os Hermits mudaram pra Henry, mas continuam falando em três sílabas.

No filme Ghost, o personagem de Patrick Swayze fica repetindo essa música ate convencer a vidente a ir falar com a amada.
