Sairia também em compacto no mesmo dia, com Comfortably numb como Lado A. Foi produzida por Bob Ezrin, David Gilmour, Rogers Waters e James Guthrie. Como no disco The Wall, Pink é um roqueiro alienado, que está fugindo da sociedade e se isolando atrás de um muro. Aqui, Pink entende seu erro em se afastar da sociedade e tenta ganhar novamente contato com o mundo exterior. Entretanto, ele não consegue ver ou ouvir do outro lado do muro. Ele fica desesperado quando percebe que não há saída. David Gilmour tocou baixo sem trastes, violão de 6 e de 12 cordas, guitarra, pedal steel e cantou vocais principais e fez harmonias vocais. Roger Waters cantou. Nick Mason tocou bateria. Richard Wright tocou piano elétrico Rhodes, orgão Hammond e sintetizadores. James Guthrie usou uma furadeira elétrica.
