em 10 de novembro de 1965 e lançada em 3 de
dezembro de 1965, no disco Rubber Soul. Os dois escreveram a canção
juntos após fumarem maconha. Foi a primeira vez que eles fumaram
maconha antes de compor. Paul disse que a maconha atrapalhou. Lennon
disse a maconha ajudou.
Paul
disse que eles queriam fazer uma canção com apenas uma nota, como
Long Tall Sally. Ele disse que chegaram perto com The Word. George
Martin tocou o solo de harmonium. Paul, John e George Harrison cantam
os backing vocals e John canta uma parte sozinho, o que eles chamam
de middle-eight.
