Just a perfect day
Drink sangria in the park
And then later, when it gets dark
We go home

Just a perfect day
Feed animals in the zoo
Then later a movie, too
And then home

Oh, it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh, such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging on
You just keep me hanging on

Just a perfect day
Problems all left alone
Weekenders on our own
It's such fun

Just a perfect day
You made me forget myself
I thought I was someone else
Someone good

Oh, it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh, such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging on
You just keep me hanging on

You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow

Something that can make you do wrong
Make you do right
Love...

Love and happiness

Something's going wrong
Someone's on the phone
Three o'clock in the morning
Talking about how she can make it right (well)

Happiness is when you really feel good about somebody
There's nothing wrong
Bing in love with someone
(Yeah, Oh baby)

Love and happiness
(Love and happiness)

Love and happiness
(Love and happiness)

You be good to me
I'll be good to you
We'll be together
We'll see each other
Walk away with victory

Love and happiness
(Love and happiness)

Make you do right
Love'll make you do wrong
Make you come home early
Make you stay out all night long
The power of love
(Wait a minute, let me tell you)
The power of love
The power ...
Make you do right
Love'll make you do wrong

Love'll make you wanna dance and sing
Make you wanna dance

Love and happiness

Love is...
(Wait a minute)
Love is...
Walkin' together
Talkin' together
Singin' together
Prayin' together
Say, I wanna moan, say .
Moan for love, I say ...
Let me moan for love, I say ...
Wanna moan for love
Talkin' about the power ...

Oh yeah

I hear you talking
When I'm on the street
Your mouth don't move
But I can hear you speak

What's the matter with the boy?
He don't come around no more
Is he checking out for sure?
Is he gonna close the door on me?

I'm always hearing voices
On the street
I want to shout
But I can't hardly speak

I was making love last night
To a dancer friend of mine
I can't seem to stay in step
Come every time that she pirouettes over me

And I only get my rocks off
While I'm dreaming
I only get my rocks off
While I'm sleeping

I'm zipping through the days
At lightning speed
Plug in, flush out
And fire the fuckin' feed

Heading for the overload
Splattered on the dirty road
Kick me like you've kicked before
I can't even feel the pain no more

But I only get my rocks off
While I'm dreaming
I only get my rocks off
While I'm sleeping

Feel so hypnotized, can't describe the scene
It's all mesmerized, all that inside me
The sunshine bores the daylights out of me
Chasing shadows, moonlight mystery

Heading for the overload
Splattered on the dirty road
Kick me like you've kicked before
I can't even feel the pain no more

And I only get my rocks off
While I'm dreaming
I only get my rocks off
While I'm sleeping

And I only get my rocks off
While I'm dreaming
And I only get my rocks off
While I'm sleeping

Only get them off
Only get them off
Get them off
Only get them off, get them off
Only get them off

Me and Mrs. Jones
We got a thing, goin' on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong
To let it go now

We meet every day at the same cafe
Six-thirty and no one knows she'll be there
Holding hands, making all kinds of plans
While the juke box plays our favorite songs

Me and Mrs., Mrs. Jones (Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones)
We got a thing, goin' on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong
To let it go now

We gotta be extra careful
That do we don't build our hopes up too high
Because she's got her own obligations
And so, and so, do I

Me and Mrs., Mrs. Jones (Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones)
We got a thing, goin' on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong
To let it go now

Well, it's time for us to be leaving
It hurts so much, it hurts so much inside
Now she'll go her way and I'll go mine
Tomorrow we'll meet
The same place, the same time

Me and Mrs. Jones
We got a thing goin' on
We gotta be extra careful
We can't afford to build our hopes up too high
I wanna meet and talk with you
At the same place, the same cafe, the same time
And we gonna hold hands like we used to
We gonna talk it over, talk it over
We know, they know, and you know what I know that it was wrong
But our thing is strong, we gotta let 'em know now
That we gotta thing going on, a thing going on

A letra:

First thing I remember
Was asking Papa, "Why?"
For there were many things I didn't know
And Daddy always smiled
Took me by the hand
Saying, "Someday you'll understand"

Well, I'm here to tell you now each and every mother's son
You better learn it fast, you better learn it young
'Cause someday never comes

The time and tears went by
And I collected dust
For there were many things I didn't know
When Daddy went away
He said, "Try to be a man
And someday you'll understand"

But I'm here to tell you now each and every mother's son
You better learn it fast, you better learn it young
'Cause someday never comes

And then one day in April
I wasn't even there
For there were many things I didn't know
A son was born to me
Mama held his hand
Saying, "Someday you'll understand"

Well, I'm here to tell you now each and every mother's son
You better learn it fast, you better learn it young
'Cause someday never comes
Ooh, someday never comes

Think it was September
The year I went away
For there were many things I didn't know
And I still see him standin'
Tryin' to be a man
I said, "Someday you'll understand"

But I'm here to tell you now each and every mother's son
You better learn it fast, you better learn it young
'Cause someday never comes
Ooh, someday never comes

A letra:

Holly came from Miami, F.L.A.
Hitch-hiked her way across the U.S.A.
Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her legs and then he was a she

She says, "Hey, babe
Take a walk on the wild side"
Said, "Hey, honey
Take a walk on the wild side"

Candy came from out on the Island
In the back room she was everybody's darling
But she never lost her head
Even when she was giving head

She says, "Hey, babe
Take a walk on the wild side"
Said, "Hey, babe
Take a walk on the wild side"

And the colored girls go
"Doo do doo do doo do do doo..."

Little Joe never once gave it away
Everybody had to pay and pay
A hustle here and a hustle there
New York City's the place

Where they said, "Hey, babe
Take a walk on the wild side"
I said, "Hey, Joe
Take a walk on the wild side"

Sugar Plum Fairy came and hit the streets
Looking for soul food and a place to eat
Went to the Apollo
You should've seen them go, go, go

They said, "Hey, sugar
Take a walk on the wild side"
I said, "Hey, babe
Take a walk on the wild side", alright
Huh

Jackie is just speeding away
Thought she was James Dean for a day
Then I guess she had to crash
Valium would have helped that bash

She said, "Hey, babe
Take a walk on the wild side"
I said, "Hey, honey
Take a walk on the wild side"

And the colored girls say
"Doo do doo do doo do do doo..."

I'm getting bored
Being part of mankind
There's not a lot to do no more
This race is a waste of time

People rushing everywhere
Swarming around like flies
Think I'll buy a forty four
Give 'em all a surprise

Think I'm gonna kill myself
'Cause a little suicide
Stick around for a couple of days
What a scandal if I died

Yeah I'm gonna kill myself
Get a little headline news
I'd like to see what the papers say
On the state of teenage blues

A rift in my family
I can't use the car
I gotta be in by ten o'clock
Who do they think they are

I'd make an exception
If you want to save my life
Brigitte Bardot gotta come
And see me every night

I think I'm gonna kill myself
'Cause a little suicide
Stick around for a couple of days
What a scandal if I died

Yeah I'm gonna kill myself
Get a little headline news
I'd like to see what the papers say
On the state of teenage blues

On the state of teenage blues

Kill myself, suicide
What a scandal if I died
Suicide, headline news
On the state of teenage blues

A letra:

Perhaps it's the color of the sun cut flat
And coverin' the crossroads I'm standing at
Or maybe it's the weather or something like that
But mama you been on my mind

I do not mean you trouble, don't put me down, don't get upset
I am not pleadin' or sayin' I can't forget you
I do not pace the floor, bowed down and bent, but yet
Mama you been on my mind

Even tho' my eyes are hazy
And my thoughts they might be narrow
Where you been don't bother me, or bring me down with sorrow
I don't even mind where you be wakin' up tomorrow
But mama you been on my mind

I'm not asking you to say words like yes or no
Please understand me, I've no place I'm calling you to go
I'm just whisperin' to myself so I can pretend that I don't know
Mama you been on my mind

When you wake up in the mornin' baby, look inside your mirror
You know I won't be next to you, you know I won't be near
I'd just be curious to know if you can see yourself as clear
As someone who has had you on his mind
As someone who has had you on his mind
Mama you been on my mind

In Dixieland I take my stand to live and die in Dixie
'Cause Dixieland, that's where I was born
Early Lord one frosty morning
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland

Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
His truth is marching on

So hush little baby
Don't you cry
You know your daddy's bound to die
But all my trials, Lord, will soon be over

Glory, glory hallelujah
His truth is marching on
His truth is marching on

A letra:

I see a change is coming to our lives
It's not the same as it used to be
And it's not too late to realise our mistake
We're just not right for each other

Love has slipped away left us only friends
We almost seem like strangers
All that's left between us are the memories we shared
Of times we thought we cared for each other

There's nothing left to do but go our separate ways
And pick up all the pieces left behind us
And maybe someday, somewhere along the way
Another love will find us

Some day when she's older, maybe she will understand
Why her mom and dad are not together
The tears that she will cry when I have to say goodbye
Will tear at my heart forever

There's nothing left to do but go our separate ways
And pick up all the pieces left behind us
And maybe someday, somewhere along the way
Another love will find us
There's nothing left to do but go our separate ways

Então ele desce pra New England. Ele perde seu dinheiro, confiança e fé nele mesmo até que perde sua virgindade e tudo volta ao normal.

Paul cantou e tocou violão. Los Incas tocaram flauta, charango e percussão.

A letra:

Couple in the next room bound to win a prize
They've been going at it all night long
Well, I'm trying to get some sleep
But these motel walls are cheap
Lincoln Duncan is my name and here's my song
Here's my song
My father was a fisherman
My mama was a fisherman's friend
And I was born in the boredom and a chowder
So when I reached my prime
I left my home in the maritimes
Headed down the turnpike for New England
Sweet New England

Holes in my confidence
Holes in the knees of my jeans
I was left without a penny in my pocket
Ooo-Weee I was about destitute as a kid could be
And I wished I wore a ring so I could hock it
I'd like to hock it
A young girl in a parking lot
Was preaching to a crowd
Singing sacred songs and reading from the Bible
Well, I told her I was lost
And she told me all about the Pentecost
And I seen that girl as the road to my survival
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
Just later on the very same night
When I crept to her tent with a flashlight
And my long years of innocenece ended
Well, she took me to the woods
Saying here comes something and it feels so good
And just like a dog I was befriended
I was befriended
Oh, oh, what a night, oh what a garden of delight
Even now that sweet memory lingers
I was playing my guitar
Lying underneath the stars
Just thanking the Lord for my fingers
For my fingers
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

A letra:

When I look back, boy, I must have been green
Bopping in the country, fishing in a stream
Looking for an answer, trying to find a sign
Until I saw your city lights, honey, I was blind

They said, get back, honky cat
Better get back to the woods
Well, I quit those days and my redneck ways
And, oh, the change is gonna do me good

You better get back, honky cat
Living in the city ain't where it's at
It's like trying to find gold in a silver mine
It's like trying to drink whiskey from a bottle of wine

Well, I read some books, and I read some magazines
About those high-class ladies down in New Orleans
And all the folks back home, well, said I was a fool
They said, oh, believe in the Lord is the golden rule

They said, get back, honky cat
Better get back to the woods
Well, I quit those days and my redneck ways
And, ooh ooh ooh ooh, oh, change is gonna do me good

They said, get back, honky cat
Better get back to the woods
Well, I quit those days and my redneck ways
And, oh oh oh oh, oh, change is gonna do me good

They said, stay at home, boy, you gotta tend the farm
Living in the city, boy, is going to break your heart
But how can you stay when your heart says no?
How can you stop when your feet say go?

You better get back, honky cat
Better get back to the woods
Well, I quit those days and my redneck ways
And, ooh ooh ooh ooh, oh, the change is gonna do me good

You better get back, honky cat
Living in the city ain't where it's at
It's like trying to find gold in a silver mine
It's like trying to drink whiskey, oh, from a bottle of wine

Oh, yeah

Get back, honky cat
Get back, honky cat
Get back, whoo

Get back, honky cat
Get back, honky cat

Get back, honky cat
Get back, get back, honky cat, whoo (oh yeah)

1238 – The Rolling Stones – Let it loose (1972)

Escrita por Mick Jagger e Keith Richards, foi gravada em junho e julho de 1970, em julho e agosto de 1971 e finalizada entre janeiro e março de 1972. Foi lançada no disco Exile on Main St.

Bill Wyman toca o baixo e Charlie Watts toca bateria. Nicky Hopkins toca piano e mellotron. Bobby Keys tocou sa tenor e Jim Price tocou trombone e trompete.

A letra;

Who's that woman on your arm?
All dressed up to do you harm
And I'm hip to what she'll do
Give her just about a month or two

Bit off more than I can chew
And I knew, yeah, I knew what it was leading to
Some things, well, I can't refuse
One of them, one of them the bedroom blues

She delivers right on time, I can't resist a corny line
But take the shine right off your shoes
Yeah, right off your shoes
Carryin', carryin' the bedroom blues

Oh, yeah, in the bar you're getting drunk
Oh, yeah, yeah, I ain't in love
I ain't in lust, oh, no, no, no
Find the switch and shut the light
Won't you shut it? Yeah
Let it all come down tonight

Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger
Some face I'll never see no more, wrong
Let it all come down tonight
Keep those tears hid out of sight, yeah

Let it loose, yeah, let it loose, let it loose
Let it loose, let it all come down
Let it loose, let it loose, yeah, yeah

Let it loose, let it all come down
Let it loose, let it all come down
Let it loose, let it all come down
