A letra:

When are you gonna come down?
When are you going to land?
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man

You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing
The blues, ah, ah

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad
Oh, I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road
Ah, ah

What do you think you'll do then?
I bet they'll shoot down the plane
And It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again

Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you
On the ground, ah, ah

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad
Oh, I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road
Ah, ah

1356 – George Harrison – Don't let me wait too long (1973)

George cantou, tocou violão, slide guitar e fez backing vocals. Nicky Hopkins tocou piano. Gary Wright tocou piano elétrico e harpsichord. Klaus Voorman tocou baixo. Ringo Starr tocou bateria. Jim Keltener também tocou bateria.

A letra:

How I love you baby
So don't let me wait too long

How I love you baby
So don't let me wait too long

How I miss you baby
So don't let me wait too long

How I miss you baby
So don't let me wait too long

'Till you're here by my side
Now only you know how to dry up all
of those tears that I've cried

Here, with your love
Now only you know how to lay it down
like it came from above

You know it's you that I love

Now don't let me wait too long
Now don't let me wait too long
Now don't let me wait too long
Now don't let me wait too long

Till you're here by my side
Now only you know how to dry eye up
all of those tears that I've cried

Here with your love
Now only you know how to lay it there
like it came from above

You know that it's you that I love

So don't let me wait too long
So don't let me wait too long

How I miss you baby
So don't let me wait too long

How I miss you baby
So don't let me wait,

Don't let me wait,
Don't let me wait too long

A letra:

Well I stood stone-like at midnight
Suspended in my masquerade
And I combed my hair 'til it was just right
And commanded the night brigade

I was open to pain and crossed by the rain
And I walked on a crooked crutch
I strolled all alone through a fallout zone
And came out with my soul untouched

I hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd
But when they said, "Sit down," I stood up
Ooh, ooh, growin' up

The flag of piracy flew from my mast
My sails were set wing to wing
I had a jukebox graduate for first mate
She couldn't sail but she sure could sing

I pushed B-52 and bombed them with the blues
With my gear set stubborn on standing
I broke all the rules, strafed my old high school
Never once gave thought to landing

I hid in the clouded warmth of the crowd
But when they said, "Come down," I threw up
Ooh, ooh, growin' up
Work it back now

I took month-long vacations in the stratosphere
And you know it's really hard to hold your breath
I swear I lost everything I ever loved or feared
I was the cosmic kid in full costume dress

Well, my feet they finally took root in the earth
But I got me a nice little place in the stars
And I swear I found the key to the universe
In the engine of an old parked car

I hid in the mother breast of the crowd
But when they said, "Pull down," I pulled up
Ooh, ooh, growin' up
Ooh, ooh, growin' up

1354 – Eagles – Doolin-Dalton (1973)

A letra:

They were Doolin, Doolin-Dalton

High or low, it was the same

Easy money, and faithless women

Red eye whiskey for the pain

Go down Bill Dalton, it must be God's will

Two brothers lyin' dead in Coffeeville

Two voices call to you from where they stood

"Lay down your law books now, they're no damn good"

Better keep on movin', Doolin-Dalton

Till your shadow sets you free

And if you're fast, and if you're lucky

You will never see that hangin' tree

Well the towns lay out across the dusty plain

Like graveyards filled with tombstones waitin' for the names

And a man could use his back or use his brains

But some just went stir-crazy Lord cause nothin' ever changed

Till Bill Doolin met Bill Dalton

He was workin' cheap, just buyin' time

And then he laughed and said I'm goin'

And so he left that peaceful life behind

A letra:

Hey lady, you got the love I need
Maybe more than enough
Oh darling, darling, darling
Walk a while with me
Ohh, you've got so much, so much, so much

Many have I loved, and many times been bitten
Many times I've gazed along the open road

Many times I've lied, and many times I've listened
Many times I've wondered how much there is to know

Many dreams come true, and some have silver linings
I live for my dream, and a pocket full of gold

Mellow is the man who knows what he's been missing
Many, many men can't see the open road

Many is a word that only leaves you guessing
Guessing 'bout a thing you really oughtta know, oh, oh, oh, oh
Really oughtta know (oh, oh, oh)
I really oughtta know
Oh
You know I should, you know I should, you know I should, you know I should

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see

But if I stay here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change

Oh, oh, oh, oh
And the bird you cannot change
And this bird, you cannot change
Lord knows, I can't change

Bye-bye, baby, it's been sweet love, yeah, yeah
Though this feelin' I can't change
Please don't take it so badly
'Cause Lord knows, I'm to blame

If I stay here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change

Oh, oh, oh, oh
And the bird you cannot change
And this bird, you cannot change

Lord knows, I can't change

Lord help me, I can't change
Lord, I can't change
Won't you fly high, free bird, yeah

A letra:

Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
While those around you crawled

They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on the treadmill
And they made you change your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in

And I would have liked to know you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Loneliness was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Hollywood created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid

Even when you died
Oh the press still hounded you
All the papers had to say
Was that Marilyn was found in the nude

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in

And I would have liked to know you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
While those around you crawled

Goodbye Norma Jean
From the young man in the twenty second row
Who sees you as something more than sexual
More than just our Marilyn Monroe

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in

And I would have liked to know you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

1350 – George Harrison – The light that has lighted the world (1973)

George Harrison cantou, tocou os violões, slide guitar e fez backing vocals. Nicky Hopkins tocou piano. Gary Wright tocou harmonium. Klaus Voorman tocou baixo e Jim Keltner tocou bateria.

A letra:

I've heard how some people, have said
That I've changed
That I'm not what I was
How it really is a shame

The thoughts in their heads,
Manifest on their brow
Like bad scars from ill feelings
They themselves arouse

So hateful of anyone that is happy
Or 'free'
They live all their lives,
Without looking to see
The light that has lighted the world

It's funny how people, just won't
Accept change
As if nature itself - they'd prefer
Re-arranged

So hard to move on
When you're down in a hole
Where there's so little chance,
To experience soul

I'm grateful to anyone,
That is happy or 'free'
For giving me hope
While I'm looking to see

The light that has lighted the world

When we try

You and I (you and I)
Can find a way to see (see-eeh)

Dragonfly, the years ahead will show
How little we really know
Since you've gone (since you've gone)
It's never right (it's never right)
They go on (they go on)
The lonely nights (those lonely nights)
Come on home (come on home)
And make it right (make it right)

My heart is aching for you, little lamb

But I cannot help you in

1348 – Eagles – Certain kind of fool (1973)

A letra:

He was a poor boy, raised in a small family
He kinda had a cravin' for somethin' no one else could see
They say that he was crazy
The kind that no lady should meet

He ran out to the city and wandered around in the street
He wants to dance, oh yeah
He wants to sing, oh yeah
He wants to see the lights a flashin' and listen

To the thundering

He saw it in a window
The mark of a new kind of man
He kinda liked the feeling, so shiny and smooth in his hand
He took it to the country and practiced for days without rest

And then one day he felt it

He knew he could stand with the best
They got respect, oh yeah
He wants the same, oh yeah
And it's a certain kind of fool that
Likes to hear the sound of his own name

Oo...

A poster on a storefront, the picture of a wanted man
He had a reputation spreading like fire through the land
It wasn't for the money, at least it didn't start that way
It wasn't for the runnin', but now he's runnin' every day.

1347 – Led Zeppelin – The rain song (1973)

Plant então fez a letra.

A letra:

It is the springtime of my loving
The second season I am to know
You are the sunlight in my growing
So little warmth I've felt before
It isn't hard to feel me glowing
I watched the fire that grew so low, oh

It is the summer of my smiles
Flee from me, keepers of the gloom
Speak to me only with your eyes
It is to you I give this tune
Ain't so hard to recognize, oh
These things are clear to all from time to time, ooh

Oh, oh
Oh, oh

Oh

Talk talk, talk, talk
Hey, I felt the coldness of my winter
I never thought it would ever go
I cursed the gloom that set upon us, 'pon us, 'pon us,
But I know that I love you so
Oh, but I know
That I love you so

These are the seasons of emotion
And like the wind, they rise and fall
This is the wonder of devotion
I see the torch
We all must hold

This is the mystery of the quotient, quotient
Upon us all, upon us all a little rain must fall
Just a little rain, oh
Ooh, yeah-yeah-yeah
