158 – Roy Orbison – Crying (1961)

Escrita pro Roy Orbison e Joe Melson, foi lançada em julho de 1961, chegou ao numero 2 dos charts pop americanos em outubro do mesmo ano.

Em 1987, Roy Orbison gravou a cancao num dueto com K.D. Lang para a tilha sonora do filme Hiding out. Essa gravação ganhou um Grammy. Essa gravação chegou ao numero 13 dos charts ingleses. Em 2002, Crying entrou pro Grammy Hall of Fame. É também a numero 69 das 500 maiores cancoes de todos os tempos da revista Rolling Stone.

BJ Thomas gravou-a em 1975, Del Shannon em 1964 e Don McClean em 1980.

O presidenciavel Mitt Romney disse que Crying era uma das 10 melhores cancoes de todos os tempos.
