Escrita por Bill Monroe em 1945, foi gravada inicialmente pela sua banda, os Blue Grass Boys e lançada em 1947. A nossa versão no entanto é a de Elvis Presley, gravada em 7 de julho de 1954 no Sun Studios, em Memphis, Tennessee e lançada em 19 de julho de 1954, no compacto que tinha That's all right como Lado A. Originalmente uma valsa, Elvis tornou-a um rock and roll. Bill Black que mostrou-a à Elvis. Elvis cantou e tocou violão. Scotty Moore tocou guitarra elétrica e Bill Black tocou baixo. Foi regravada por muitos artistas, entre eles Patsy Cline, Al Kooper, Paul McCartney, John Fogerty, Carl Perkins, e The Beatles.
