A letra:
Once I had my
heroes Once I had my dreams But all of that has changed
now They've turned things inside out The truth is not that
comfortable, no
And Mother taught us patience The
virtues of restraint And Father taught us boundaries Beyond
which we must go To find the secrets promised us, yeah
That's when I reach for my
revolver That's when it all gets blown away That's when I reach
for my revolver The spirit fights to find its way
A friend of mine once told me His
one and only aim To build a giant castle And live inside his
name Cry and whispers sing in muted pain Yeah
That's when I reach for my
revolver That's when it all gets blown away That's when I reach
for my revolver The spirit fights to find its way
Tonight the sky is empty But that is
nothing new Its dead eyes look upon us And they tell me we're
nothing but slaves
That's when I reach for my revolver
(just slaves) That's when I reach for my revolver That's when I
reach for my revolver That's when I reach for my revolver That's
when I reach for my revolver That's when I reach for my revolver

A letra:
You've heard
every line before My life's a revolving door With no way out
and no way in You know just what's on my mind Could you take a
chance one more time Maybe we could start all over again Straight
from the heart Baby my love
Your eyes can't tell a lie I can see
what you're feeling inside Don't give up before we start 'Cause
this time love is Straight from the heart
I know what they're telling you I
wish I could say that it's not true Love is so hard to find But
I never took the time I never let you in Please let me try
again Straight from the heart
Your eyes can't tell a lie I can see
what you're feeling inside Don't give up before we start 'Cause
this time love is Straight from the heart
I thought I knew about love But I
didn't know at all Didn't take the time to see Until I started
to fall Straight from the heart

banda Who. Chegou ao número 4 no Reino Unido. A canção não

A letra:
Down in amongst
the streets tonight Books will burn, people laugh and cry in their
turmoil (Turmoil turns rejoiceful) Shed your fears and lose
your guilt Tonight we burn responsibility in the fire We'll
watch the flames grow higher But if you get too burnt, you can't
come back home
And as I was standing by the edge I
could see the faces of those who led Pissing theirselves laughing
(and the flames grew) Their mad eyes bulged, their flushed faces
said The weak get crushed as the strong grow stronger
We feast on flesh and drink on
blood Live by fear and despise love in a crisis (What with
today's high prices) Bring some paper and bring some wood Bring
what's left of all your love for the fire We'll watch the flames
grow higher But if you get too burnt, you can't come back home
And as I was standing by the edge I
could see the faces of those who led Pissing theirselves laughing
(and the flames grew) Their mad eyes bulged, their flushed faces
said The weak get crushed as the strong grow stronger
In the funeral pyre We'll watch the
flames grow higher But if you get too burnt, you can't come back
home In the funeral pyre We'll watch the flames grow higher But
if you get too burnt, you can't come back home In the funeral
pyre (Well I feel so old, when I feel so young Well, I just
can't grow up to meet the demands) We'll watch the flames grow
higher But if you get too burnt, you can't come back home (Well
I feel so old, when I feel so young Well, I just can't grow up to
meet the demands) (Well I feel so old, when I feel so young Well,
I just can't grow up to meet the demands)

A letra:
She had a look
in her eye That could make you melt Made me feel better than I
ever felt But bless her heart, she couldn't stay I begged her
not to go away
She left my ex best friend out in old
Tucson Told me she was leaving And would be rolling on Now
the days just pass on by Losing her is the reason why
Leila,
Leila, your mind will be flying high And everything will be
alright
You know I love you girl more than I can say I
still think about you each and every day My lonesome old heart
still feels the same So Leila won't you steal away
Leila,
Leila, your mind will be flying high And everything will be
alright
Leila, Leila, your mind will be flying high And
everything will be alright

Gouldman.
A letra:
She went away for the holidays Said
she's going to l.a. But she never got there She never got
there She never got there, they say
She went away for the holidays Said she's going to l.a. But
she never got there She never got there She never got there,
they say
The kkk took my baby away They took her away Away from
me The kkk took my baby away They took her away Away from me
Hey, ho, hey, ho,
I don't know Where my baby can be They took her from me They
took her from me
I don't know Where my baby can be They took her from me They
took her from me
Ring me, ring me, ring me At the president And find
out Where my baby went Ring me, ring me, ring me At the
fbi And find out if My baby's alive

A letra:
Happens all the
time Its going to happen - happen - till your change your mind Its
going to happen - happen - happens all the time Its going to
happen - happen - till your change your mind
Best story I ever heard The truth
about fat Mr X and the young girl See how far he'll let you
go Before he persuades you when you're walking home
Happens all the time ...
Watching your friends passing by Going
to sleep without blinking a blue eye Too slow to notice what's
wrong Two faced to you when you're taking them on
Happens all the time ...
Everything goes when you're
dead Everything empties from what was in your head No point in
waiting today Stupid revenge is what's making you stay
Its going to happen - happen - till
your change your mind

A letra:
Jessie is a
friend Yeah, I know, he's been a good friend of mine But lately
something's changed that ain't hard to define Jessie's got himself
a girl and I want to make her mine
And she's watching him with those
eyes And she's loving him with that body, I just know it Yeah,
and he's holding her in his arms late, late at night You know, I
wish that I had
Jessie's girl I wish that I had
Jessie's girl Where can I find a woman like that?
I'll play along with the charade There
doesn't seem to be a reason to change You know, I feel so dirty
when they start talking cute I wanna tell her that I love her, but
the point is probably moot
'Cause she's watching him with those
eyes And she's loving him with that body, I just know it And
he's holding her in his arms late, late at night You know, I wish
that I had
Jessie's girl I wish that I had
Jessie's girl Where can I find a woman like that?
Like Jessie's girl I wish that I had
Jessie's girl Where can I find a woman- Where can I find a
woman like that?
And I'm looking in the mirror all the
time Wonderin' what she don't see in me I've been funny, I've
been cool with the lines Ain't that the way love's supposed to be?
Tell me, where can I find a woman like
that?
You know, I wish that I had
Jessie's girl I wish that I had
Jessie's girl I want Jessie's girl Where can I find a woman
like that?
Like Jessie's girl I wish that I had
Jessie's girl I want, I want Jessie's girl

So long I've
been looking too hard, I've waiting too long Sometimes I don't
know what I will find I only know it's a matter of time When
you love someone When you love someone
It feels so right, so warm and true I
need to know if you feel it too
Maybe I'm wrong Won't you tell me if
I'm coming on too strong This heart of mine has been hurt
before This time I want be be sure
I've been waiting for a girl like
you To come into my life I've been waiting for a girl like
you A love that will survive I've been waiting for someone
new To make me feel alive Yeah, waiting for a girl like you To
come into my life
You're so good When we make love
it's understood It's more than a touch or a word we say Only in
dreams could it be this way When you love someone Yeah, really
love someone
Now, I know it's right From the
moment I wake up till deep in the night There's no where on earth
that I'd rather be Than holding you, tenderly
I've been waiting for a girl like
you To come into my life I've been waiting for a girl like
you A love that will survive I've been waiting for someone
new To make me feel alive Yeah, waiting for a girl like you To
come into my life
I've been waiting waiting for
you I've been waiting I've been waiting come into my life

A letra:
I am the one in
ten A number on a list I am the one in ten Even though I
don't exist Nobody Knows me Even though I'm always there A
statistic, a reminder Of a world that doesn't care
My arms enfold the dole queue
Malnutrition dulls my hair My eyes are black and lifeless
With an underprivileged stare I'm the beggar on the corner
Will no-one spare a dime? I'm the child that never learns to
read 'Cause no-one spared the time [Chorus]
I am the one in ten, I'm the
murderer and the victim The license with the gun I'm a sad
and bruised old lady In an ally in a slum I'm a middle aged
businessman With chronic heart disease I'm another teenage
suicide In a street that has no trees [Chorus]
I am the one in ten, I'm a starving
third world mother A refugee without a home I'm a house wife
hooked on Valium I'm a Pensioner alone I'm a cancer ridden
specter Covering the earth I'm another hungry baby I'm an
accident of birth. [Chorus]

A letra:
Shots Ringing
all along the borders can be heard Striking out like a venom in
the sky Cutting through the air faster than a bird In the night
Children Are lost in the sand,
building roads with little hands Trying to join their father's
castles together again Will they make it? Who knows where or
when Old wounds will mend?
Machines Are winding their way
along, looking strong Building roads and bringing back loads and
loads Of building materials In the night
Men Are trying to move the borders
on the ground Lines between the different spots that each has
found But back home another scene was going down In the night
Lust Comes creepin' through the
night to feed on hearts Of suburban wives who learned to
pretend When they met their dream's end In the night
Shots I hear shots, I keep hearing
shots I keep hearing shots I hear shots
Shots I hear shots, I keep hearing
shots I keep hearing shots I hear shots
But I'll never use your love You
know I'm not that kind And so if you give your heart away I
promise to you Whatever we do That I will always be true

define a banda.
song of all time”.
Louis the lawyer, que ele modificou e expandiu. Então Lee e Lifeson
musicaram o poema.
Geddy Lee cantou, tocou teclado e
baixo. Alex Lifeson tocou guitarra e Neil Peart tocou bateria. Chegou
ao número 24 no Canadá, número 25 no Reino Unido e número 44 no
Billboard Hot100.
A letra:
A modern-day
warrior Mean, mean stride Today's Tom Sawyer Mean, mean
pride
Though his mind is not for rent Don't
put him down as arrogant His reserve, a quiet defense Riding
out the day's events The river
What you say about his company Is
what you say about society Catch the mist, catch the myth Catch
the mystery, catch the drift
The world is, the world is Love and
life are deep Maybe as his skies are wide Today's Tom Sawyer,
he gets high on you And the space he invades, he gets by on you
No, his mind is not for rent To any
god or government Always hopeful, yet discontent He knows
changes aren't permanent But change is
And what you say about his company Is
what you say about society Catch the witness, catch the wit Catch
the spirit, catch the spit
The world is, the world is Love and
life are deep Maybe as his eyes are wide
Exit the warrior Today's Tom
Sawyer He gets high on you And the energy you trade He gets
right on to The friction of the day

A letra:
You act like
you were just born tonight Face down in a memory but feeling all
right So, who does your past belong to today? Baby, you don't
say nothing when you're feeling this way
Girls in the bars thinking who is this
guy But they don't think nothing when they're telling you lies You
look so careless when they're shooting that bull Don't you know
heartaches are heroes when their pockets are full
Tell me you're trying to cure a
seven-year ache See what else your old heart can take Boys say,
"When is he gonna give us some room" The girls say,
"God, I hope he comes back soon"
And everybody's talking but you don't
hear a thing You're still uptown on your downhill swing The
boulevard's empty, why don't you come around? Baby, what is so
great about sleeping downtown?
There's plenty of dives to be someone
you're not Just say you're looking for something you might have
forgot Don't bother calling to say you're leaving alone 'Cause
there's a fool on every corner when you're trying to get home
Just tell 'em you're trying to cure a
seven-year ache See what else your old heart can take Boys say,
"When is he gonna give us some room" But the girls say,
"God, I hope he comes back soon"
Tell me you're trying to cure a
seven-year ache See what else your old heart can take Boys say,
"When is he gonna give us some room" The girls say,
"God, I hope he comes back soon"

A letra:
My love There's
only you in my life The only thing that's bright
My first
love You're every breath that I take You're every step I
make
And I (I-I-I-I-I) I want to share All my love
with you No one else will do...
And your eyes Your eyes,
your eyes They tell me how much you care Ooh yes, you will
always be My endless love
Two hearts Two hearts that
beat as one Our lives have just begun
Forever (Ohhhhhh) I'll
hold you close in my arms I can't resist your charms
And
love Oh, love I'll be a fool For you I'm sure You know
I don't mind Oh, you know I don't mind
'Cause you You
mean the world to me Oh I know I know I've found in
you My endless love
