Neil comprou um rancho em Northern California, o Broken Arrow Ranch, por 350 mil dólares em 1970. Lá tinha um senhor que tomava conta do rancho. Essa música foi feita pra ele, seu nome Louis Avila.
Neil cantou e tocou guitarra. Ben Keith tocou pedal steel guitar. James McManon tocou piano. James Taylor tocou banjo e fez backing vocals. Linda Ronstadt fez backing vocals. Tim Drummond tocou baixo e Kenny Buttrey tocou bateria.
