Escrita por Benjamin Weisman and Fred Wise, foi gravada em 5 de julho de 1961, nos estúdios da RCA Victor em Nashville, Tennessee. Foi lançada em abril de 1962, para ser lançada junto ao filme de mesmo nome. 

Follow that dream chegou ao número 15 dos charts pop americanos. Teve os Jordanaires como backing vocals, Scotty Moore na guitarra eletrica e D.J. Fontana na bateria.
