138 – Bobby Rydell – Volare (1960)

Originalmente, a canção foi escrita em italiano e gravada por Domenico Modugno e foi grande sucesso em 1958. Se chamava “Nel blu dipinto di blu”. A versão que escolhi é a de Bobby Rydell, de 1960, mas tivemos outros artistas de peso regravando-a, como Dean Martin, Barry white, David Bowie e Gipsy Kings, entre outros.

A versão de Bobby Rydell chegou ao numero 4 dos charts americanos no verão de 1960 e numero 22 dos charts ingleses. A versão de Rydell também foi usada no filme Vamp, de 1986.
